#NowWeRise – 9 Dec Day of Action

As world leaders gathered for the UN’s climate negotiations at COP28, a climate summit presided over by an oil executive, we came together on 9 December to demand climate justice.

Interfaith prayers and meditations for climate justice

In the leadup to the UN climate talks, COP28, in the United Arab Emirates, we held an interfaith vigil at the Clive of India Memorial, corner of King Charles Street and Horse Guards Road, SW1A 2AH, asking the UK to honour its global commitments to climate justice. Food distribution with Go Dharmic, Tuesday 14 Nov, 17.30-19.00 GMT

With winter coming and the cost-of-living crisis and other climate change-driven injustices continuing to affect so many people, we supported ongoing GoDharmic’s food distribution in London at Agar Street outside the Zimbabwe Embassy, Zimbabwe House.

As part of Great Big Green Week, we supported Christian Aid and Islamic Relief UK and their interfaith stall on Lower Marsh, in front of IR-UK’s office, to tell people about loss and damage.
